1992 FXRS-Conv Frame-Up
I call this the $30k FXR... Why? Because I spent $29,728.48 to make it look the way it does now. She's a 1992 Low Rider Convertible (FXRS-Conv) built by FXR Bazaar and friends in Sacramento, CA for the 2025 West Coast FXR Jam. H-D only made 584 units WORLD WIDE in Vivid Black w/ Red/Yellow ("ketchup & mustard") stripes for 1992. Check out the details on this build below.
GIVEAWAY #9 | FRAME-UP 1992 FXRS-CONV
Bone Stock to Badass
This bike got a frame up restoration... In my opinion, it looks better than it did on the showroom floor back in '92. We did fresh powder on the frame, complete drivetrain disassembly and rebuild: split cases, crank-up, vapor honed, fresh texture paint, new pistons, all new Cycle Electric charging system, DynaTek 2000i ignition, S&S Super E carb, EV27 cam, and more...
GIVEAWAY #9 | FRAME-UP 1992 FXRS-CONV
Clean & Classy
The stance and overall look of this bike is clean and classy. Original paint with a fresh coat of clear, and chrome parts where chrome would have been in '92. Here's the stuff that most guys won't notice: The 9-spoke mags -- I had these completely blasted, polished and then powdered texture black to give them a 2-tone contrast look. The single piston calipers were also completely refurbished. The entire drivetrain was rebuilt and got fresh texture black paint. This motorcycle is brand new.
GIVEAWAY #9 | FRAME-UP 1992 FXRS-CONV
Quality Upgrades
This bike got the trifecta (bars, seat, pipe), plus more... It also got a new set of FXR Division RP bags - we chromed the rails to match the louvered side covers. The subtlety of the parts I use is intended to show the quality of the build. The stuff you can't see is just as nice, such as: Cycle Electric, DynaTek, Andrews, Barnett, etc.

1992 WAS A GREAT YEAR FOR THE FXR
This FXR was in rough shape when it showed up, but everything was there... We wasted no time in tearing it down and sent just about every single part off to paint, powder, polish and chrome.

FLEXING A BIT...
Chromed rails on a set of FXR Division RP bags is a flex... chrome is not an option that you can get straight from FXR Division. You have to choose : "raw" and then send the rails off to chrome. I think we have close to $3k into these bags.

OEM PLUS
I have to talk about the 9-spoke mag wheels on this bike... The 92 Verts came with blonde mags back in the day. I prefer a 2-tone contrast look like the 13-spokes that came on many of the 99-05 Dynas. To achieve that, we had to blast, polish, tape and powder these wheels. I pared them with a set of Beavs Spot 9-spoke rotors.
